Bonus Daughter Number 3
Bonus Daughter to the 3rd Power
Ayanna Morton is her name. This one I call the grounded one . In the midst of all life’s madness she quietly observes. But just because she’s quiet doesn’t mean she doesn’t have opinion about what’s going on around her. It just means that she’s going to wait to tell you how she really feels. But then the smirk on her face always tells you that her wheels are turning.
Although she’s the youngest in the clan she’s an old soul and a force to be reckoned with. She’s helpful, intuitive, and her love for God and her Grandfather are greatly evident. She’s attracted to most things positive and makes it a point not to focus on things that are out of her control. Most adults could learn from her innate ability to see the truth of a situation. I love her dearly her energy is wonderful and refreshing especially for a sixteen year old. You can tell her influence comes from the elders on her life.
Now in terms of food. Ayanna is the one who loves great food but she loves everything in moderation. Her favorite cooks are her Mom and Dad . But what she loves that her Bonus Mom (me)makes is Seafood Alfredo. Which me and her definitely have in common because when I was her age and I ate out at a Restaurant the only two things I was ordering was chicken fingers or seafood Alfredo. So I made this for her last year as an early Birthday Celebration . It was amazing. With cheesy Naan Bread on the side. A definite hit with her and her Dad. Here is the recipe below.
